Dr. Alan WoodworthDr. Woodworth graduated from Rockland High School in a class of 15 students. Upon graduation he served an LDS chuch mission in the Hawaiian islands, tough break! He has an Associates degree from Ricks College, a Bachelors degree in Bioveterinary Science from Utah State University, and is a graduate of the College of Veterinary Medicine at Washington State University in 2002. After graduating from veterinary school Dr. Woodworth worked at Bear River Animal Hospital in Tremonton, Utah as a mixed animal practitioner. In 2008, Dr. Woodworth joined the staff of the Pet ER at Cottonwood Animal Hospital. He is very excited to work in such a wonderful veterinary practice and is primarily interested in emergency medicine and surgery.
Dr. Alan Woodworth was born and raised on a farm in the small Southeast Idaho town of Rockland. His love of animals stems from the wonderful experiences he had with the cattle, horses, cats and dogs he spent so much time with as a youth. Dr. Woodworth and his wife are the proud parents of three children with one on the way. Free time is spent outdoors on their farm in Idaho.
