Dr. Jess Anderson grew up in Spokane Washington. After finishing high school, he attended and graduated from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. From Provo, Jess moved directly to Pullman, Washington to attend Washington State University's College of Veterinary Medicine. During his 4 years at WSU, Jess participated in many clubs including the Raptor Rehabilitation Club, the Multicultural Club, and was president of WSU's Draft Horse Club.
After 4 years of study at the College of Veterinary Medicine, Jess moved to a small town in eastern Washington where he practiced mixed animal medicine. Besides dogs, cats, horses and cattle, Jess worked with sheep, goats, llamas, alpacas, and pigs and even had one run-in with a water buffalo.
Jess moved to the Salt Lake valley in 2005. He enjoys spending time with his wife Ashley, international travel, and hiking with his beloved dog, Maggie. He loves being part of the team at Cottonwood Animal Hospital.
